The Federation of ASEAN Shipowners’ Associations (FASA) is pleased to participate in the 17th Co-operation Forum in Singapore, a premier regional platform for enhancing maritime safety and environmental protection. For FASA, navigational safety across ASEAN waterways remains a top strategic priority. While not delivering a formal presentation, FASA’s active engagement underscores the critical importance of this forum, especially as 26 states have prepared statements to advocate for the free passage of vital waterways. This collective diplomatic effort aligns closely with FASA’s commitment to collaborating with littoral states and industry stakeholders to secure trade routes with no disruption, strengthen safe vessel passage with use of technology, and foster sustainable maritime growth and prosperity.
