FASA was represented at Brunei Darussalam Maritime Week (BDMW) 2026 through the Brunei Shipowners’ Association. Held from 6 to 9 August 2026, the event brought together government leaders, maritime industry experts, and international partners to discuss developments and opportunities in the maritime sector.
Organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) under the theme “Powering Maritime Excellence: Safe Seas, Thriving Economy, Future-Ready People,” the conference and exhibition provided a platform for knowledge sharing, industry engagement, and regional collaboration.
Through the Brunei Shipowners’ Association’s participation, FASA was able to demonstrate its support for initiatives that promote maritime safety, sustainable growth, and stronger cooperation within the ASEAN maritime community. The event also offered valuable opportunities for engagement with stakeholders from across the region and reinforced FASA’s commitment to advancing the interests of the shipping industry in Southeast Asia.
